Palais royal shadows sunny day

Saint Malo is a famous walled city on the coast of Brittany, home to countless stories of pirates, navy battles, adventure and romance. This game will take you to unmissable places from the ramparts to the winding streets of the intra-muros, but also to more off-the-beaten track places such as the Maison de la Duchesse Anne and the Chapelle Saint-Aaron.

The goal is to visit as many locations as possible, either in your own time or against the clock. But your score will also depend on who/what you see in the neighbourhood during your visit, so no tour will be the same. There are also questions and extra sites to visit for more points. It's entirely up to you how many sites you go to and whether you take any of the detours.

The game can be played by any number of people, and it's possible to split into teams to compete against your friends and family. It is suitable for all ages.

Without any detours, the route should take you around 1 hour to walk. We have also provided a list of recommended cafes, shops and restaurants along the route for you to try.

The game is illustrated with photographs and facts about the areas throughout, and offers you a chance to visit unknown and less visited corners of the city.

There are two ways to play:
- Explore - there is no time limit to your game, you can take your time finding the sites and pause whenever you want.
- Race - you only have one hour, so you have to decide which places you go and which you skip. If you’re in a big group and want to compete, you can also split into teams and see who gets the highest score.

Visited sites includes:
- Bon Secours beach
- The ramparts and castle
- Rue du Pelicot
- Bastion de Hollande
- Tour Bidouane

And many more!
