The Right Bank of the river Seine is home to some of the most visited places in Paris, including the Louvre, Hotel de Ville and the Pompidou Centre. This game will take you to these unmissable places but also to more off-the-beaten track sites such as Rue Montorgueil, Nicolas Flamel's house and the Passage du Grand Cerf.
The goal is to visit as many locations as possible, either in your own time or against the clock. But your score will also depend on who/what you see in the neighbourhood during your visit, so no tour will be the same. There are also questions and extra sites to visit for more points. It's entirely up to you how many sites you go to and whether you take any of the detours.
The game can be played by any number of people, and it's possible to split into teams to compete against your friends and family. It is suitable for all ages.
Without any detours, the route should take you around 1 hour 20 minutes to walk. We have also provided a list of recommended cafes, shops and restaurants along the route for you to try.
The game is illustrated with photographs and facts about the areas throughout, and offers you a chance to visit unknown and less visited corners of the city.
There are two ways to play:
- Explore - there is no time limit to your game, you can take your time finding the sites and pause whenever you want.
- Race - you only have one hour, so you have to decide which places you go and which you skip. If you’re in a big group and want to compete, you can also split into teams and see who gets the highest score.
Visited sites includes:
- The Jardin des Tuileries
- The Louvre
- Palais Royal
- Galerie Vivienne
- The Pompidou Centre
- Hotel de Ville
And many more!
